DOI:10.17014/ijog.9.3.279-290 The Wanagon Gold prospect area located in the Ertsberg District, Papua Province, eastern part of Indonesia, is predominantly underlain by Upper Mesozoic to Cenozoic sedimentary rocks intruded Sill monzodiorite-diorite and andesite intrusion (Wanagon Dike). study previous researchers at was based on pre-2005 exploration data did not contain extensive additional drillings 2007-2011. This paper aims elucidate genesis deposits latest data. mineralogy determined using thin section polish analyses, a scanning electron microscope with an energy dispersive spectrometer (SEM-EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Near-Infrared spectroscopy (NIR). chemical composition rock identified fluorescence (XRF). mineralization associated pyrite, which there are three types gold-bearing pyrite: (1) massive (2) disseminated (3) fine-grained pyrite clay minerals. Only contains visible minerals such as native gold, electrum, gold-telluride minerals, while nonmassive gold only detected assay. deposit interpreted structurally controlled distal skarn. Instead, its local association arsenic also indicates minor component more-distal sediment-hosted type mineralization.

Bijvard prospect area is located in the northern part of Central Iran zone, Sabzevar zone, about 40 km north of Bardaskan. The rock units exposed in the area include Cretaceous volcano-sedimentary rocks (andesite, basalt, graywacke and conglomerate) that syenogranite porphyry unit has intruded into them. Mineralization has structural control, with N35E trending, and has altered the andesitic r...

متن کاملCan the Gold Coin Futures Prices Forecast the Gold Coin Spot Prices at the Maturity Date?
This paper examines whether the gold coin futures prices in the Iran Mercantile Exchange can forecast accurately the gold coin spot prices at the maturity date. For this, it uses daily data of both futures and spot prices from Azar 1387 to Tir 1397. A cointegration analysis shows that in horizons shorter than 100 days, there is a significant one-to-one relation between these two prices which im...
متن کاملHydrothermal Gold Mineralization and Some Features of Ore Mineral at Onzon-Kanbani Area, Central Myanmar
Onzon-Kanbani area is a western flank of Mogok Metamorphic Belt where gold mineralization is hosted as auriferous quartz-vein with epithermal low-sulphidation characters. Mineralization is closely associated with NE-SW trending fracture or shear zone probably related to the dextral movement of the Sagaing Fault system. Mineralization related hydrothermal alteration is developed as narrow zones ...
